Stiletto Moody Skins. Yay or nay?

Not gonna lie; I was excited to hear that Stiletto Moody was launching a cosmetic skin line. The extremely-enhanced preview pictures like the one I blogged about last year generated much of the excitement for me. (The promotional ads of the skin above, however, look a bit, shall we say, witchy to me.)
The skins were released early this year, and after trying them on, I have to say that I’m pretty disappointed; the skins definitely don’t live up to my expectations.
The Stiletto Moody skin is pretty lackluster compared to the ones designed by already well-established skin brands. It’s also pricier, to say the least. A single skin from Stiletto Moody will ring up for L$1199. A fatpack with about 21 make-up options will cost you L$7,999.
There are five skin tones to choose from: Pale, Fair, Beach, Sun and Cinnamon. I’m wearing the demo in pale; from what I saw, there’s only one demo of each tone. In an ideal world, when paying for a demo ($L1), there should be a demo of all the make-up options. I’d like to see how the different make-up would look on my face.
Here’s the skin with the shape I normally wear:

And here it is with the demo shape it comes with:

The face is pretty meh. The lips are beautiful, but they don’t make up for everything the skin lacks.
I don’t generally strip down for skin reviews; haven’t done that for the blog so far (I also don’t ever review demos, so…), but I think it’s worth talking about and, therefore, see:

(FYI, I’m still wearing the demo shape for these candid shots.)
I like the highlights and all that, and like that the body isn’t super shiny. But there aren’t really that many memorable details about the skin. Usually, before purchasing a skin, I, of course, evaluate the skin head to toe for all the correct bits, but I also look for parts to motivate and cement my purchase. You know, the “oh, I have to have this skin because I love the ____” reaction. I didn’t really get that reaction with this skin.
The nipples look boring, and I don’t think their color pigment compliments the skin tone very well. I’m also not sure why the inner thigh friend is covered up; consumers like myself sort of want to know what we’re buying and expecting when we undress…
I did like the shoulder blades and butt, but not enough for me to forfeit L$1199.

Overall, the skin is mediocre, but it isn’t for me. It’s not to say, though, that it won’t be for other skin enthusiasts.
For now, I think Stiletto Moody should stick to designing and improving their quality shoes, of which I’m still a fan of.
P.S. I didn’t check to see if the skin had cleavage options or a hairbase option, which is pretty much a must nowadays in the market. But I don’t think it does, which constitutes another major point deduction. LOL.
