I dug around my inventory for an outfit that would go best with a cape from Mimikri I wanted to feature for a long while now. I bought the cape months and months ago, but hadn’t had an occasion to whip it out.
Well, it’s Halloween, and there’s no better occasion than that. It works for a unique dark angel/vampire/anything-sexy-badass look. I went all out with the look to achieve a dark, grungy edge.

While the cape looks incredibly realistic in photography, it’s a bit odd in-world. It’s a bit stiff, as it’s made from sculpty prims. So, don’t expect to get a lot of movements out of it.
The shiny material of the red latex dress works well with the material of the cape, so I ended up pairing the two. The red also lends a bold pop of color to command attention.
The lace body mesh/suit is a special item from Miamai, priced at L$70 (it’s a tatoo layer so it only works on 2.0 viewers); the head-to-toe body lace definitely gives the look some edge. (By the way, I attached the feathers to my spine, as the cape occupied the chest region.)
If the look is too overwhelming, you can always strip off the lace, the feathers, and the head harness, as shown below. The hair shown in the pared down look is a free Halloween gift from Casa Cheerno.
Happy Halloween.
