Little Big Shop Event

Yesterday (Friday) was Earth day, but I was a bit busy to blog or create a style entry. So, Happy Earth Day!!

Today, I’ve been informed of a charity event running from the 15th of April to the 15th of May. The Little Big Shop Event is a fair that promotes both small and big stores while simultaneously bringing attention to a charity. This year’s charity is the Water Project, an organization that helps bring clean water to the poorest areas in both Africa and India. Profits from specially made items for the event will go directly to the charity. As specified by the event’s official website, this year’s goal is L$500,000 lindens, a goal that cannot be reached without our help.  (I was just at the event and it is EMPTY!  So please check it out.)

There will also be a ton of water-themed artwork (primwork, photography or videos) from esteemed secondlife residents that you can check out at the fair.

Vita’s Boudoir

I love this video. It’s basically a beautiful, artsy commercial for the whimsical designs of Vitabela Dubrovna.

The video is created, edited and directed by ColeMarie Soleil, a very talented resident of Secondlife. She performs music in-world and also designs. I’ve featured some of her designs here.
